If you have been fingerprinted by a Law Enforcement Agency for a criminal offence and your fingerprints have been sent to the RCMP in Ottawa to be entered into CPIC (Canadian Police Information Centre) database, you have a criminal history.  Your fingerprints have been assigned a FPS number and a file has been opened.
